Don't, my brother got it, its worst then Sims 2. Some of the stuff has been taken out of the game, Or even better, this sums up my thoughts:

Hahaha, I remember a while back now when i had sims 1. While a thief got into your house i would switch to build mode and block him in... then he would piss himself... Don't worry i let him out later. That was prob. the only fun part of that game, it got old quickly.

The Sims series of games make me ever so depressed. I somehow manage to get caught up in the tedious work, eat, sleep, repeat cycle - an alternation which seems to match my life exactly. I play games to escape reality, not to replicate my life onto them.

i used to make my guy look like a junkie then put all these plants that looked like weed all over the house half finished wallpaper rubbish everywhere junkie lookin a few ovens lol and wen some1 would come vivsit build a wall round them till the died haah and put there urn on my table muhahahah.

or build a massive house using cheats one or the other

sims3 to sims2 is what sims2 was to sims1......there r improvements, but need expansion & stuff packs to take full advantage of them.....if u make the visitors die and hide the urn away they will haunt the house...and there a cool patches and stuff to d/l that give the game a different twist....I don't mind playing it if I'm pretty bored...I mainly spend me time building houses

Not something I'd buy but my girl loves it
