Do they both have wireless? just network each device and copy the files from one to the other

got an external hard drive? or know someone that has one?

just keep all your music on that.. or if you have an iPod you can use that as an external HDD.

open up my computer and push all your info onto that. and do reverse to take it off.

Your best option is by getting an ethernet crossover cable and setting up a small ethernet network between the two machines - just about any laptop these days (apart from the MacBook Air, and maybe some netbooks) will have ethernet, and its a lot easier to set up, faster (depending on what type of ethernet controller both machines have, ethernet will run at either 100 or 1000 Mbps, rather than 802.11g's 54Mbps) and more reliable than wireless.

Yeah do it over ethernet, It will be much quicker than using wireless.

Also you should invest in an external HHD. Can grab a great WD 1TB for $170 these days.
