Hi all, I have a computer here that I rarely use and I want to sell it, but I haver no idea what it is worth. I know the old adage that it is only worth what people want to pay for it but I need a starting point.
This is the set up:
ASUS P5B-E Plus Motherboard (2 years old)
Intel E6400 Core2 Duo CPU 2.13GHz 2MB Cache
ASUS EN8600GTS 256MB Video card
2GB OCZ DDR2 800 (Gen II 4 -4 - 4 - 15 Timings)
Pioneer DVR - 212 DVD burner
Panasonic Floppy Drive (Black)
200GB Seagate HDD
500GB Seagate HDD (for back-up and extra storage)
Corsair 520W Power Supply
Thermaltake M9D Case with 23cm side fan, front usb and audio, and front SATA port. Screwless design (3 months old)
19" LG LCD model L1932S Monitor (old but still works good)
Logitech X530 5.1 Channel Surround Sound speakers (only used for about 2 days and repacked in their original box) They sound awesome but I do not have the room for the speakers to be effective
I will be supplying a new keyboard and mouse as the one on it now has been used a bit on my other computers and is a bit daggy
Comes with a genuine copy of Windows XP Pro SP1 and a CD with Service Packs 2 & 3.
I bought all the parts for this computer and assembled it myself. It has not been overclocked but they tell me that the CPU in it is one of the best for overclocking
The overall condition of this computer is really Very good/Excellent
Thanks in advance,
Rossco
I'd probably pay somewhere around the $700 - $800 mark for it.

Laugh all you want guys...it was just a rough guess - I don't really keep up to date with the value of second hand gear, as I always just buy mine brand new.![]()
Yeah I rekon youd get say 500 for it. Try sell it to someone who has no idea how to build their own computer, or not idea you can actually buy the parts separately and put them together and you might get some more.
I'll give ya my protein shake for it?.
wouldn't pay any higher then 500$
