    Default BAcking up data

    Hi guys,

need some help. i'm having PC issues (PC locks up and reset is the only option except sometimes it won't re-boot)

so i'm looking to back up all my data. to date i have done this manually by copying all my music files and pics onto my spare HD as well as any other files i need to ensure i don't loose. i've also hooked my laptop upto the PC and copied all those files onto there temporarily untill i get this problem sorted.

what i'm after is a way to uatomatically back-up the data on the PC but not make a complete system backup

    any ideas or suggestions welcome

    cheers

Grab SyncToy. It's a Microsoft Powertoy.

If you have Norton 360, then that includes backup software.

Alternatively, search Google for "automated backup software"

I use a program called allway sync. It does automated backups, everything the fancy software does plus its free. I've been using it for a few months now and it works great!
