IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey (PS3)

I love a good flight sim, and this game is sure to keep me occupied, just like Tom Clancy's Hawx. I downloaded the demo version on my PS3 through the Playstation Store, and have been trying it out this morning.
All I can say is... "Woohoo!" Combat missions based around the 1940's war years, in which the demo features two missions - one where you fly a Spitfire; attacking bombers and BF109's crusing around the skies. The other mission uses the awesome P-51D Mustang, which attacks ground targets including heavy artillery and Panzer tanks!

The graphics in the demo are awesome and the look of the planes is the best of have seen in a game. The appearance of the earth terrain is very much the same as Hawx, which is extreme detail.

As far as I am aware, the game has only just been, or very near release in the stores. I'd suggest having a go at the demo first however.

Yeah sounds good. Its still a bit in the high end of the price range for me at the moment though. I'm getting a bit tight ass with buying games at the moment, as most have been out for ages, yet they still have a $109 to $119 price tag??

u can only get the demo through the US ps store, it isnt on the aussie 1 only in psp format...might get it sumtime this week
