well i got it yesterday and i am very pleased its a freaking awesome game alot better the mw1 i must say, but i gotta say most people dont buy it for single player mode, alot of guys just get it for online, so for me its just like a big new map pack you can buy for $78 instead of the usual $15.95 on the psn store/xbox live

i havent even started SP mode yet ive spent most of my day/night online its where all the action is

housemate got it last nite for the 360, i love it, the graphic quality is far better than MW1, the only beef i have is that multiplayer does not have oldschool mode!!!! which is shit, i like the option of running around and picking up watever gun i may want, although the ability to create your own class and being able to make and alter your guns is cool, also alot more maps which are huuuge.

overall, i rate it highly and recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality first person shooter!!

what you mean by picking up whateva gun you want on muitplayer? do you mean when someone dies you cant get their gun etc?

nah, in MW1 they had "oldschool" mode, where different guns where placed at certain areas of the map, you would start with the Scorpion and Handgun as your start weapons but could pick up whatever gun you wanted to.

Well if they didnt want me commenting on the single player why the **** did they include it.

I dont know how they can claim "Game of the Decade" for what is essentially DLC for MW1.

...now its time to pray that Assassins Creed lives up to expectations.

I dont think its right to have the single player story so short. Not everyone can get broadband so its a bit of a cop out more and more games now just focus on the MP online play which sucks :-(

Yeah most games lately are finished around the 10 hour mark at max. I remember HL2 Episode 1 i finished in like an hour and a half i was like what the??

I'm not really a fan of MP, the only games i REALLY got into was Halo 2/3 on xbox live (i owned that shit) and maybe counter strike source on pc, everything else doesn't interest me, mainly cause i get my ass kicked at most games online.

Back on topic, i'll be getting this MW2 on pc when i upgrade my own, i could play it now but i'm more interested in max graphics So give it about 4 weeks and ill have it

Awesome game, Awesome Maps +1, Short Single Player but it has spec ops which is madddd, Online fecking rocks too.

Pretty much if you bought this at Full price just for Single player then you may get a few days out of it but after that no point as its all about multiplayer now.

im liking this more and more i play it, the ability to create and edit your guns etc in multiplayer is awsome, the maps are definatly an improvement over mw1.

I think the single player campaign is abit short, my mate just rang me to tell me he finished it last night after he got off nightshift, but combine that with all the special ops mission i think the single player expieriance is quite good.

This game is good, im rating it more and more i play it. i dont do online, dont have internet at home, but looking at setting up a lan this weekend via system link, see if it supports 4 people per console as mw1's system link was a joke.

I don't have the game so I don't know where you're at... but I'd suggest re-playing the game on veteran difficulty once you're done. I do this with most games I play... my first playthrough is on normal to get a good feel for the game, then I'll do it again on the hardest difficulty. It's always a challenge, always takes a hell of a lot longer to complete and is very satisfying when you finally get it.

Beating the mile high club on veteran in CoD:MW1 was one of the most satisfying accomplishments on any game I've ever played... I was seriously thinking it was impossible lol.

Ok finished SP campaign on hardened in 4:45 so really wasn't that long for such a hyped game. MP is awsome expect for the fact you can't pick the server which is mega ass! Was great finding a server you liked and sticking to it, now you get put on some mega lagging server full noobs.

yeah i got it... played it twice online- took over 15 minutes to get a game the second time... i ended up returning it- *brace for random shocked posts*

i have MW1... online is EXACTLY the same :P... not only that, there's just no... STRATEGY, you run around in random circles:

shoot
run

get killed
respawn and run
shoot

repeat. Which was why i went back to Bad Company 1... i'll be saving my money for number 2 in march... at least you can DRIVE stuff in that game and the maps arent all identical... lol

I think it was a good game, I do agree it wasn't as good as I expected but the online play is pretty good, I mean compaired to 'World at War', after that game I didnt have high expectations for the online side of things but I enjoyed it.

One thing I didn't like was when you would put your night vision goggles on in the game, it was too light and I could barely see anything.

Wheres the dedicated Sniper level? Theres a couple of levels you kinda use a sniper rifle for a good 5 minutes but nothing like "All Ghillied Up"

I think its the one where your with Captain Price in the snow. Its like All Ghillied up but not as good. I'm not sure of the name of it however.

Just bought the first one for $30 so i'll have a crack at that first, it'll be the first time i've seen let alone played any of the COD franchise. I usually buy games for the single player mode first ahead of multiplayer but i do enjoy some games online, especially uncharted 2.

Because you arent expecting anything after playing Modern Warfare 1, you will enjoy it. Everyone who played MW1 expected the bar to be raised, we expected there to be new exciting and different things. We were let down.

Yeah that's what i figured. It's the same with asassins creed 2, i have the first and i'm yet to even play it lol.

Honeslty I would skip the first assassins creed. It has a great story but the game is repeditive. At the start of AC2 it recounts the story anyway.
