Well, now I would like to leave this country even more.

I think pornography is disgusting and of course, child porn is an abomination, but all they've done is punish the law abiding Australian public while doing nothing more than encouraging would-be offenders to use overseas VPN connections to do their business. Thus, the AFP will now have an even more difficult - if not impossible - task to track down offenders.

This is absolute garbage.

For those who are unaware, the black list will NOT just include child pornography. It will include ANYTHING the government doesn't want us looking at. Welcome to China, people, we're just one step closer. Just like what Rudd wants.

About half of the sites on the list were not related to child porn and included.........and even a Queensland dentist.

^^^ Ones again its Think of the children!! WhereTF are the parents. I grew up with out computers because we could not afford them. Simple fix i say, if you don't want them to view garbage, take away the computer. Get back to text books and libraries if they have to FFS!

The major problem isn't what they are banning but the continuous boxing in of the population of this country, they are pushing us in, in in in and closing the lid. It's happening so fast and no one seems to notice. I don't know what will happen in the end, it's not like we have a AK each like some countries and can have a good old proper revolution and fix it ourselves when times get really unhappy. Both sides of the goverments are thinking the same. So there seems there's no way out. Goo to the box and be happy driving around stuffing the planet digging shit out of the ground that can never go back in and sending all the money to the man so he can do.... I don't know? buy more planes to catch you speeding 2km/h average over the limit with ?. Sorry if that's a bit depressing but that's how it is. Majorly stuffed up

I have no problem with those being blocked, but will reserve my judgement until the actual list is released (if they actually have the balls to do so). There are always ways around these things if you are desperate enough though.

The list needs to be public and there needs to be a way to challenge being on the list. At least that would take away the governments power to blacklist a site that contains anti gov information.
