Connecting to Xbox Live Help!

I am having a...annoying issue. I recently had to buy a new HDD which meant reinstalling everything and starting afresh. My Xbox is connected to my PC via the Ethernet cable and my PC is connected to the Cable Modem via USB. I have enabled ICS and all is fine, I can log into XBL and use Media Sharing etc etc.

UNTIL I log off my computer when I go to work etc. In the past I was still able to access XBL when I was at the log in screen of Windows and stream from my PC which was great for my brother, he could play the xbox while I was at work without being able to access my PC. Not anymore.

Another small, annoying issue has arisen from this, when I log back in, I cannot get back onto XBL, I must restart the computer.

Help?

Best suggestion would be, Get rid of your crappy USB modem. And go Buy a proper Ethernet ADSL Modem/4 Port router. Will solve ya problems, and and you wont have to even have your PC on to use XBL
