What are your thoughts on the new iPad?
I think its good, Be good if you had ALOT of books, and photos you need to show your grandma or something, or fly around alot and need to entertain ya self lol

All it is is an overpriced itouch. Yes the screen is bigger, but way overpriced. You can buy 2 netbooks for the price of an ipad.

i can see its uses, HD pr0n on the go, but really an over priced itouch. no real business uses at all, no word or excel type apps.

just another usless pos form apple mac just like there computers but the mac faithful will buy it just like the iphone. the only decent thing thay have got out is the ipod

I won't be getting one.

My laptop and itouch have it all covered.

And I like to print out reports, plans and drawings before I work on them - much less stressful to the eyes than staring at a computer screen.

There maybe no word programs yet, But its a touch screen, its endless in what programers can build and delvelope for them. theres 140,000 Apps for the iPhone. But really depends what you do. Some people will have uses for it, some wont, but people have the option for something like this now. and the netbooks, they are just so slow. played with a few, id throw it out the window lol

touch screen it is nothing new and there are laptops out there that do it better as for the iphone i never seen the point there was better phones out there that are cheaper

Only thing the iPhone lacks is video chat, and there are so many more apps for them. And how can you say there are laptops that do it better, have you already gone out and bought a iPad and compared them? Not defending, I dont own a iPhone for the fact i HATE PHONES!, i just carry one with me if someone needs to contact me in a emergency.

It has no usb drives, no changeable battery no card slots whats the point of it? No CD/DVD drive so your again forced to only buy applications from the Apple store.

Once again Apple spews out a product that has no flexibility, no compatibility with other products and no upgradeability.

iphone's lack alot and for the apps there was a heap out there for all other phones befor the iphone and now with the new phone comeing out you can use the apple apps

as for the ipad i had the pleasure to use one 2 days ago and there nothing special i would want more for my money but every one to there own

Thanks for the heads up on that. Im sure our store will be getting them several days latter after they go on sale like everything else. Still going to be 60 odd days before they go on sale, must want all the Apple stores to have stock first.

They are crap or will be at least who on this forum owns an iphone on knows someone that owns one and and smashed the screen on it. It's bound to happen with the ipad + you have to lay it down to type any thing on it.

thay did for all the other products that have been hyped up i know there's more on the way i kind of hope that thay don't sell then the price will drop heap cus there will be to many on the market
