Anyone here have mobile wireless broadband?

If so, who are you with, and is it any good?

with telstra, 36 month plan for$89 a month, gets you 5 gig.... its a massive ripoff but its the only thing i could get for my area.

if your in a capital city id recommend 3, 6 gig for $49, good speeds and pretty reliable

im with 3 prepaid wireless... was like $130 for the modem and i just get the 12gig for $149 they give you a year to use it... works alright in city areas but as soon as u head outta the city doesnt work. Its good enough to play online games with and most the time can load a youtube clip quicker then it can play... but yea no signal at all outside major cities pretty much.

Initial $190 for the usb modem, flat rate of 1.5c per mb plus i think $5 monthly access fee.

No contract.

Typical download speed is around 50-100kbps depending on the site. Have seen as high as 500-600kbps consistently.

the mrs is with 3 Mobile, 24 Month contract with her phone already, 15$ a month for 1GB, she only needs it for uni as they cant get there S**T together with the internet. Works great. Also good if the power goes out and have a laptop hehe

you know its 6GB (liberty) now for $79.95 right? & thats before multiproduct discount....
