Ever been unlucky with LCDs?

i just bought a benq g2420hd. they are so cheap i couldn't deny it any longer. really happy with the monitor too, i think the quality is great... but the first one i had had a dead pixel near the centre of the screen. so i took it back, got a replacement, and this one has 2 stuck red pixels on the left hand side of the screen. running a pixel fixer for nearly an hour now but they are still there. tried rubbing it and everything. i was wondering if anyone else has been unlucky with LCDs and dead/stuck pixels?

i dont have any dead pixels (touch wood) but my model of lcd screen bleeds white, i guess for the price you pay for the screens now these are tradeoffs

I have a 2412HD, (wife has one too) and no issues, sounds like a bad batch to me, unlucky, mabe test it before you take it from the shop this time?

yeah i dunno, i'm real lazy so i don't know if i can be bothered taking it back now though . they aren't *that* annoying unless you are trying to read text on the very left hand side of the screen (unlikely). when the screen is white they are red, but if the screen is black they go black so they are not visible at all when playing games/watching movies.
