COD Prestige mode?
I just reached level 70 in Cod MW2, the game asks me whether I want to enter prestige mode or not. Is it a good idea to reset all of my level and start from scratch? Is there any real advantage of doing prestige?

As Wraith just said, no advantage besides new titles and emblems, and maybe to show that your more skilled?? Even though most people who have the highest prestige level have hacked their way there anyway.
I'm in 2nd prestige mode, few of the titles i've gotten are decent, thats about it.

it depends how much you really play the game, if you dont play much of it dont prestige..my brother is now prestige 10 no hacks...and im prestige 4... but yeh nothing really special if you do like said above new titles etc

on cod4 i did prestige once just because i liked the prestige logo better. wouldn't waste my time doing it again after that though. i won't get mw2 until i finish uni, otherwise i wouldn't be able to give myself any time to study
mate dont do it, its not worth it i am first prestige on PS3 and i'm regretting it hard, lost all my good guns, if your gonna do it, just prestige once and get a better logo and thats it, thats what im doing, will not do it again!
edit: you asked the advantage, the only advantage is you get an extra custom class slot, after 10th prestige you end up with extra custom class slots.
ie. first prestige = 6th custom slot.

I got sick of the crappy weapons when i prestiged, i was 2nd prestige level 36 and had enough, so i just hacked to 10th prestige and unlocked everything, I don't get on it that much so didn't really bother me that i hacked. Its fun when you have everything unlocked

I can go to Level 70 in a day if I rush. Having no job gives you mad COD skills.

Ha. If you've got internet as bad as mine, that's a feat for the gods. Probs every half-hour, the game goes all spastic and the screen goes all jerky, then it says server connection timed out, then does'nt let me play for a while. It sucks, but I make do.
It really sucks when I'm on a good killstreak and I'm going for a pave low or EAD and the game decides to cut out.

Yeah I got Bigpond wireless. Uses the Telstra network. Lately has been absolutely poo though.
