this is one of the cases I'm looking at, XClio I'm not a fan of the screw-less installation.
so do u want to start fresh ? or use old parts from ur current pc ?
also give us a budget...ill see what i can recommend for ya
well with that motherboard its going to be abit hard at getting better graphics with only a 6 pci express slot...most cards run a x16 now
hmm...
cmon go get urself a i5 or i7 build you know u want too![]()
a i7 would be awesome i will look into it
these are some of the cases that i like so far
Thermaltake Black Soprano Chassis with 430W PSU i really like the clean look of this one but im not shor of the amoun of air flow it would get. and the tool free instilation
Thermaltake Black Armor Chassis with 430W PSU i also like this one but its abit out of the price range that I'm willing to spend on a case.
Unistar International - PC and Server Hardware Products this one i like allot and have found it locally for $200 with a 430w psu the only down side is the tool-less installation i would like my precious parts to be held in nice and tight by screws. also i have my doubts about the large fans running at a decent speed.
Check what form factor the Dell Motherboard is, being Dell it may not be ATX common form factor of those cases.
Personelly that rocket case looks terrible, and would be shit for dust.
Look at some of the cheaper cooler master cases, the 690 is a good case.
Personelly I wouldnt spend to much upgrading the dell, its still out dated compared to todays specs, and your pretty much throwing wasted money at it, better to save and just build a new one in my opinion.
yeh i must agree..i wudnt upgrade the dell...i had a pretty gd HP system that i bought no too long ago... but still went ahead an built a whole new system....so id suggest starting fresh m8...be alot quicker system from starting fresh then upgrading the dell....
whats your kind of budget you looking at spending?
how whould i find out what form it is, i had a look at the case yesterday and it has dust filtrs on but i think it would still be a problem with dust.
ive been looking at them but havent really found anything that tickles my fancy's yet
i think i might just update the case, psu and video card and maybe a few other lil things
Yeah mate, definitely time for a full upgrade. Problem with computers is there is a snowball affect with the motherboard, as it is the part that is most important and constantly updating! Bitch of a thing that must be overcome to have the best of the best =p
eXtreme Power Supply Calculator
Here's a good site for how big you need your power supply.
just make sure u get a known brand with the psu's m8...dnt get some unkown brand which can make ur pc blow...stick with corsair, seasonic, thermaltake, antec
