hi people

i have a desktop and a laptop with the desktop running 7 and the laptop running vista. i have them both hooked up running Internet through the big pond router thing they gave me (the newest one with wireless)

I'm wanting to file share in house from the desktop to laptop. I'm not to concerned about file sharing the other way.....

Create a HomeGroup on your main computer, i.e on your desktop then when your laptop connects to the router it'll ask you what type of network it is, click "home", it'll ask you if you wanna join the HomeGroup, you just put in a password that you get from the main computer and bobs you're uncle, also you should try google this, you'll get a quicker resolution to your issue
