Just curious what the numbers are amongst the more popular (top 5) browsers... For whichever browser you use most. (I use more than one but primarily Chrome).
Personally, I haven't used IE for years although the current version isn't bad - I do keep it for reference.
Until recently I was a Firefox user all the way until one of my mates convinced me to try Chrome and WOW! It's soooo fast. Added an ad blocker and off I went. Has some cool customizations, can have all your preferences synced to any computer you use it on, including bookmarks, history and themes. Anyway, I'm impressed with it. Also uses a lot less memory than IE or Firefox. I'm not trying to promote it, just expressing how impressed I am with it. Has some small issues with some sites but nothing major. Oh, and not to mention fully integrated Google functionality that you usually need to use add-ons or plug-ins for.
I use Chrome but still have IE and Firefox for programming testing. If you check out your task manager you will see that Chrome actually uses a fair amount of memory because each tab is sort of considered as a new browser. But still, I've turned into a bit of a Chrome fan boy!
Firefox FTW !!!
Was a firefox fan, but have since moved onto chromium (a linux version of chrome). But I still use IE/Safari to test sites out under windows
Firefox, but thinking about making the switch to Chrome (and have been for about a year)

Yeah I loved Firefox and have recently just made the switch to Chrome. One of the latest updates to firefox I found it to be incredibly slow and even my typing would lag behind. Chrome is just...better.
I'm happy with Firefox on my Mac. Although the new latest version of Safari isn't bad.
chrome, got sick of IE although i still have it as a back up. only had a few small issues (chrome doesn't like my router interface)

I would use Chrome but I would I rather not let Google know every thing that I was doing online. So Firefox will suffice due to the wide range of add ons you can get and the fact it is open source.
i use FireFox and Internet explorer it depends on what I'm doing, i used to use chrome but it gave me the shits.
poll needs multi select
im using opera now i like it much better than chrome and firefox
I mainly use IE, not a huge fan of it, ill admit Firefox and Chrome are quicker, but Im use to IE, and at work alot of our applications are web based and use/require IE, not to mention its locked down to IE to haha. So its just easier for me to constantly be on IE when some one says something doesnt work etc, dont care if it works on firefox, at work it HAS to work on IE.
chrome all the way for me
I dont understand the rave about chrome.. I used it when It first came out and felt like it was designed for kindergarteners. Firefox has usually been good, had a problem where every time I launched it my entire computer would crash, so used IE for a few weeks (of hell), re-installed FF and been sweet![]()
guys need some suggestions for a new Internet browser I'm Currently using Firefox 5 i upgraded from 4 a few weeks ago, so sick of Firefox being memory hog as usual i have a few add-ons, which browser is better than firefox, i don't like using i.e either, been using firefox since the downfall of Netscape navigater but lately since firefox keeps making it better its increasing memory of the browser and i need something better and reliable
Thanks
I live off of chrome, but my father in law uses avant browser and seems to never have a problem with it. There seem to be too many problems with IE and also firefox when it comes to security issues that i have been told by a bloke i know that does IT
I use IE because I'm not much good adapting to new programs, but IE recently updated to Version 8 and it sucks big time. One site I visit regularly has nothing but probs downloading. Chrome might b e on the cards very soon.
Mozilla Firefox.
