Hey all, can anyone here tell me if it is possible to have a Gigabyte Motherboard sent back to Gigabyte for repairs even though it is out of waranty?
you could, just send them an email... but yeh as said above and depending whats wrong with ur board it will be cheaper to buy a new 1
Yes you can send it out of warranty for a repair. I dont know about Gigabyte, but i know for a fact Asus will do out of warranty repairs. a mate of mine snapped off a few components while trying to install the motherboard himself, Asus charged him $40 to repair the board out of warranty. (granted it was a $200 motherboard) if u got an el cheapy, just replace it.
The board is an EP45-DS3P about 20 months old. All that has happened is that it has spat the BIOS and won't boot.
Thanks guys, I think I will just can the idea.
