i used to use it flat out not as much anymore, im thinking of getting mw2 tho.

I dislike Steam, too nannyish for me.

As in, it used to be very temperamental about making sure you got the right version to play online, and wouldn't let you ignore the newer version and play offline on a previous one etc. It insisted you had to have the latest of everything, even when the update was a huge update for no good reason etc

yeah been on steam since 03' play CSS. not played for a couple of months though. the updated css isnt that great really. dont like all the new popup stat crap.

ah yeah, thats usually a server based error. and mostly with modded servers. VAC finds it difficult to check for hacks in modded servers, thats why you see hackers on there all the time.

stick with pub servers and it wont boot you

i use steam and i have CSS but im over those days now but i have bought a number of games through steam because its so much cheaper then retail
