Ok so i have been playing this game for a while now and while it may not have fancy graphics or a story of any sort its still a fun and really addictive game and its currently in Alpha stage but as of December 20 it will be moving into beta.

Here is a description from the wiki

Minecraft is a sandbox construction game, inspired by Infiniminer, and created by Markus Persson, the manager of Mojang Specifications. The game involves players creating and destroying various types of blocks in a three dimensional environment. The player takes an avatar that can destroy or create blocks, forming fantastic structures, creations and artwork across the various multiplayer servers in multiple game modes.

Minecraft is currently in pre-release alpha, available to players for €9.95 (roughly $14 USD), but will cost €20.00 when finished. Alpha's singleplayer and multiplayer, when purchased, can be played in the user's web browser, or using the downloadable client.

i also forgot to mention that the game started of being built by 2 people and as of recently the company has now got 6 staff and the game has been bought by over 760,000 people and climbing

Played this game for about a month pretty hardcore and got over it quickly. Its not hard to reach the highest level of the game easily, getting all diamond items and then just building random shit endlessly. It has really low replayability. Unless of course you like just building random structures endlessly.
