Anyone here play L.A. NOIRE? Came out a few days ago, really good game by Rockstar. Long story short, it's a 3rd person game where you play a detective & you go around solving cases etc via the use of questioning witnesses, checking evidence, all the basic cop stuff. The facial expressions and AI is REALLY really detailed, & someones eye movements can determine whether they are telling the truth or not.

If you haven't already, look up the official trailers & also gameplay on JooTube, or just buy it, it's such a good concept, it's different and it's so in depth. And it's a change from all the FPS games I have lol.

I know its a different genre of game, but how does it stack up to GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption fun wise? Some reviews said that L.A Noire did become a little repetative and even boring at times. The graphics certainly look great, but im still deciding whether to buy it or not. I probably will get it, but i still need to finish GTA IV first. I hate starting a new game when i have'nt finished the one im working on.

its pretty much like GTA IV but your a good guy (well in the police depart) solving crimes havent got it myself yet but it looks the goods

The biggest difference compared to GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption is that you can't go and blow the shit out of anyone on the street. I guess that's good in a way but sometimes when you want to blow of steam this game doesn't allow it. The graphics are good but the lack of 1080p means it could be better. Game play wise it's fun and it's something different. Good fun for the family, you can sit around and try to solve the case together.

It's also worth mentioning that the game was developed on Rockstars game engine and made by Team Bondi in Australia. Rockstar gave TB the software and such to build the game and only took over when there was too much for TB to do before release date. Not bad for an Aussie effort

I finished the main story mode last night, now time to collect all the extra stuff and also go back to get 5 stars on all the cases.

I bought it the day it came out,
Played through the story,
tried to unlock/collect everything that it offerd (failed hard)
and loved the graphics and how smart thr game was,
Other then that, Once you complete what's needed it's boring. and dlc's just dont cut it.
that's my opinion anyway, I thought red dead and Gta were better..
