Good afternoon!
My laptop (which my iphone was synced too) died on friday, and basically spat me a "hard drive is ####ed" message, so it was basically to the bin, I cant afford, nor cant be bothered taking it to a pc shop and having it repaired, plus its an older laptop so not worth it.
I have, however a newer laptop that i now own, it has itunes on it, however if I sync my iphone to it, its going to restore is back to original settings and also wipe my entire phone..
any way to avoid this?
You are going to need to attempt to grab your iTunes library ID off your old HDD,
I know it might be a #### of a job to do, But it will be needed to set your new iTunes up to work from the same library codes.

Might be worth having a google around, To see if there is a Cydia app to grab your Itunes library code off your actual phone, to use with the new iTunes.
Apart from that I got no other ideas apart from backing your phone up, an trying to go from there. Im not sure.
