Downloading from an overseas Playstation store
Has anyone ever download from PSN in another country? I want to get Freddy Kruger on Mortal Kombat 9 when it's released. I've already made a second account and accessed the UK store but so far I haven't download any content. Can it even be done and if so can I use that content on my normal account?

My mate has a Japan and American account [And Aussie of course] and he downloads crap all the time over the PSN, though I don't know much more about it.

yeh ive got accounts for each region, i have no problems from buying/downloading content, ther stores are soo much better then the aussie's

I read somewhere that Aussie isp's are blocking all MK9 related downloads and updates due to the attourney general. Still worth a try but if it doesn't work then that'll be why.

How do you add credit to the overseas account? I tried my creditcard that was linked to my usual account but it rejected it for some reason.

your best bet is to go to Buy Playstation Network Card - Online Code Delivery and get credit from there
They do however call the contact number to double check you are actually buying the stuff and not some douche who nabbed y our cc details.

I'd never buy an Xbox... there is nothing about them that appeals to me over a PS3.
Alternatively you could buy hard copies of the game from somewhere like play-asia, I haven't bought any myself yet though.
