Getting bored with my stock IPhone 4. Want to JB.

Have done some Google research, just wanted to know what programs people used to do theirs and how they rate it.
I'm pretty tech savvy so don't hold back...

4.3.3, I plugged the phone in last night and it tryed to update on me I didn't have time so I just cancelled it...

Good so just stick to 4.3.3 , Jail break for this version is pretty easy to get from anywhere on the internet...

So just sync but dont update.

In 4.3.3 go to
Www.jailbreakme.com

Then install:
Appsync
Installous

Then add the domain
Cydia.hackulo.us to get "free trial" applications

Yup what he said , but dont update to any higher firmware then that or you wont be able to jail break
so go to JailbreakMe 3.0 in safari on your iphone and there will be a button saying install or something along those lines and it will install cydia , open up cydia and its pretty much the app store for jailbreakers (most shit is free)
then go into google and look up say top 10 cydia sources and add them into cydia and yeh jut go nuts

you can also look for the "illegal" sources for cydia so you can get full versions of apps and stuff for free

It is possible to downgrade your software but you have to do it manually

Interesting.... How do you downgrade?

You manually install the file. Can't quite remember how. Software engineer at work did mine.
