Jailbreak iOS 5

Hi all,

Wanting to update my phone to iOS 5 but it's currently jailbroken and I don't know if I can go back.

Looking online there is only a tethered jailbreak for iOS 5, but the untethered one I use now isn't available (I have iOS 4.3.3). Does this mean that if I turn my phone off, I can't use it at all until i reconnect it to a computer or I can't use my jailbroken apps til then?

Not really the right forum but people may know.

Yeh means it goes back to stock everytime you turn it off and loose your jailbreak , just wait till its untethered

This is why i frown on apple. My original phone the Galaxy S was rooted. when the new update came out for gingerbread downloaded and installed it without returning the phone to pre root.

I seen somewhere you can go into itunes and return the phone to factory correct ?.

It is jailbroken , just that its tethered jailbreak not non tethered

Went to ios5. It's much better than 4.3.x. Will jailbreak it again once there's a non-tethered option and get my apps back. Was reading online that most jailbroken apps aren't compatible Witt ios5 yet anyway.

Phone looks strange with only 4 icons across the bottom.

You can downgrade it, iv done it once before but its a royle pain in the arse lol
