    Default racing simulators

had a quick look and didnt see a thread relating to racing games on any platform and who races what si i thought i could start one

    what platform do you race?
    favourite game?
do you have a sim setup?

currently i am racing with a group of blokes and we race F1,s on iracing.we are all activly changing our setups all the time and its very adictive but also alot of fun
here are a couple of pics of sims i have made and the evoloution from crappy box to somethin a bit better.
would love to get some actualtors on at some stage to get thing realy moving but that will have to wait

    looks pretty good.
always thought about getting a steering wheel for driving games (well i have one but need an adaptor as it was for the PS2 =P)

oh and wouldnt that pic on the screen distract from the racing =P
how about we make the pedals out of sticky rubber and the shoes with steel spikes. at least my shins would like that

That setup looks mint mate! Im still running V8 supercars on the old X-Box. Ten years and still goin strong, much love for Surfers, Adelaide, Bathurst an Sandown!

I always wanted to build a racing sim with proper VX Dash etc, would cost a bucket but the results would be decent.

well i got a chance to get the screens a bit lower and off the saw horse at last :excited:

only problem i had was the screen falling over onto some steel and punching a nice hole in it >

not all bad news as i can get another but have to wait a few weeks

quick update on the sim progress
decided to re do the shape as i wasnt happy with the old one but much happyer with it now , also the wheel is now all wired up and full of buttons. aiming to fiberglass over the whole thing so i can get a prety smooth finish and a decent paint job in the red bull scheme

Thats an awesome simulator!! but you need to print this on your MDF and cut it to shape to make it even more realistic!!

I printed this and made beds for my kids, they love em.
