Been having a few issues with the home pc (that I don't use.....). It has Windows Live Mail on it. OS is Windows 7 with auto updates.
Mail configured under two profiles - mine and my wife's. She uses the pc continually, I don't (hence I have no issue).
Under my profile - full functionality. Under my wife's profile, mail can not be opened (will download), have to forward a message to view the contents. Can not send mail. Address book has vanished. Many other features.
According to pc forums, this is not us being special, it is a feature that many have failed to overcome. Microsoft are aware but have no fix.
Has anyone seen this, if so how did you remedy?
Are there any other good free mail programs out there that I can download for my wife to use?
Sorry for the long post......
Thanks.
I like Thunderbird myself, its from the Mozilla Foundation (the same people who put out Firefox) - Mozilla Thunderbird
