I have two cordless handsets, i need to put a splitter in but both handsets are no where near the computer modem, is there any alternative? i really dont know much about this lol
yeah but dont you need to plug the phone and modem into the same splitter? becuase there all at opposite ends of the house
you talking a filter/splitter for adsl?
you need one on every used outlet, and plug what is needed into it. you don't need to use both outlets
yeah, but i thought u had to plug a splitter into the main phone base and connect that to the modem. but the all three are completly opposite from each other lol
Yep what wamboin said. You need one on every phone line, but you don't need to use both inputs on each splitter.
Will back this up also. Main phone line into splitter then the phone line used for the ADSL with a splitter using the respective inputs obviously.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
so aslong as it goes
modem > splitter > wall input
Phone > splitter > wall input
sorry, i know fk all about this haha
