    Default Splitter question

    I have two cordless handsets, i need to put a splitter in but both handsets are no where near the computer modem, is there any alternative? i really dont know much about this lol

    In pretty sure you will need to put a splitter on the modem aswell.

    yeah but dont you need to plug the phone and modem into the same splitter? becuase there all at opposite ends of the house

    you talking a filter/splitter for adsl?

    you need one on every used outlet, and plug what is needed into it. you don't need to use both outlets

    yeah, but i thought u had to plug a splitter into the main phone base and connect that to the modem. but the all three are completly opposite from each other lol

    Yep what wamboin said. You need one on every phone line, but you don't need to use both inputs on each splitter.

    Will back this up also. Main phone line into splitter then the phone line used for the ADSL with a splitter using the respective inputs obviously.

    so aslong as it goes

    modem > splitter > wall input
    Phone > splitter > wall input

    sorry, i know fk all about this haha
