Never got around to finishing it, dash is from a VS Statesman International.

As far as i know, i dont think they can proove if you had it overclocked when it dies. So id just do it anyway..I have never had a cpu die from overclocking, though my temps have always been really good. Plus im pretty sure if the cpu/any component gets to hot the machine just shuts down anyway.

I'm thinking of doing the same with a VX Dash i have. I have pretty much everything (i replaced mine with a Series 2 dash), and never really sold anything.
I'm thinking of getting a G27 to fit with it, except not sure how i'd get the gear selector in properly.
How hard was yours to do? How did you get everything working with the dash? Was it costly?
Also for those that are interested, I updated my setup post lol
Post your setup!![]()

One of the drawbacks of living in an apartment is no room for a decent computer table so I created this:
Table is a piece of MDF with a thick vinyl surface. Its a stripped gas lift chair so has multiple adjustments. back is mounted to the back rest (Also has multiple adjustments).
Keyboard mouse and head phone are all cordless (logitech MX5000 keyboard/mouse package and Philips SHC2000). Only cords are for the monitor:
Computer tower is in the TV cabinet:
sound is through an external creative X-FI 5.1 and is connected through optical cabling to the sound system (Kenwood amp with powered sub 2x pioneer front speakers and kenwood centre speaker and rear speakers.)
Computer is also connected to the Hitachi Plasma through HDMI.

Im looking at getting that cooler for my next build. Youll have to get a pic of it for me inside your case so I know if I will have enough room to work with.
Yeah, thats the reason I didnt run with the Noctua. Its enormous. From what I can see it really depends on your ram, Ill be picking up the GSkill Ripjaws and they have the big heat spreaders on them so Im guessing that 2 * 2 gig will be fine but 4 * 2 gig will get in the way.
My Current case however has a 23 cm side fan so I think that may get in the way, however I want to pick up NZXT Guardian 921RB [CSNZGURB] - $109.00 : PC Case Gear
I just picked up the Coolermaster V6GT.
Just as a reference, here is the photo next to a DVD case

For Airstrike, just a reference for your cooler, there is about 5 mm clearance on my case with the CPU cooler, I can press on the side door and it will change the led color on the cooler :P
