need help playing MOV files QUICKTIME GRRRRRR

I all again i need some help..

I have lots of vids off my digi camera on my computer that use quicktime to play them i had it on the computer but for some reason it stuffed up and when i opened them it only use to play the sound and there is no vid... so me getting the ****s one day deleted it

Is there anything else out there that can play these type of files besides quicktime. As i dont want to really buy the latest version to find it doesnt play them either....

Don't download any players... Simply update to the latest version of Microsoft Windows Media Player, download and install the latest K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and ANY video file will simply play...

No, Windows media player fails. Unless you like crappy bloated software... hell, lets use norton while were at it...

Sorry ill re-phrase what i meant....

It doesn't need additional codecs to what is build into the stand alone installer.

Ie. You dont need to download "codec packs" to play files... comes built in.

i could see how you could misunderstand that.
