Download nLite 1.4.9 - FileHippo.com
New program that ive never seen before looks the goods for tweaking/uninstalling before/during an os install. has anyone had any experience with it if so what did they think?
i haven't used it, but was/am going to use it on my eeePC, to get windows down to a ridiculously small file size.
the best the poster of the guide i saw got XP down to is 687 Mb. which is impressive given my desktop system partition is usually around 20 gig ^_^
Even if you don't have an Eeepc, the guides useful in what can be down and how. here's a link

Yep, 'tis a truly awesome program. Slipstream drivers, programs, service packs and even cut out bits you don't want/need (WMP, IE, languages etc).
There's another program that does literally the same thing but on your current running copy of your windows. Albeit not free, its called xplite.
