Have you also looked at some of the prices mentioned on staticice.com.au? they don't have all the shops listed there but it may help you find out which one is more bang-for-your-buck.

    Ended up buying the following:

    INTEL CPU E8400 3.00Ghz/1333 $207.90

    Gigabyte EP45-DS3L (s775) Motherboard $131.80

    KINGSTON 2GB KIT DDR2 800MHz RAM $51.90

    Gigabyte 9500GT PCI-E 2.0 512MB 128Bit Video Card $90.60

    Seagate SATA2 320GB Harddisk (16MB) $76.20

Antec Nine Hundred 900 Gaming Case (SPC) $166

    GreatWall 550W 12cm fan PSU $57.20

LG DVD Duallayer Writer SATA Black $29.00

Goes pretty hard and the Antec case has a massive amount of fans (variable speed) with a huge one on top...... My lil sister is pretty stoked with it.....

All up cost $810.60 (Incl. GST) I prob could've got it cheaper if I shopped around but I had little time and the $$$ saved would have prob been lost on petrol anyway....

It was for my lil sister so she wanted something a bit glitsy... has 3 neon fans and a see through side case... Personally I would have gone something a bit cheaper... its only to hold the bits in place!

ugh. my very first case was a ricer case.
side and top windows with blue led fans in each, front panel had blue and red led clear-plastic prism shapes.
leaving that thing running all night in the same room as me proved difficult, and it sounded like a chopper takingoff.

Yeah I went practical with mine, no bells and whistles. Good layout, good fan placement and quantity and good air flow.

The lights are fairly bright but the fans are pretty quiet, plus they have 3 variable speeds so you can crank em up or have them fairly quiet/slow.... on the latter the bloody intel standard CPU fan is louder

This has a pretty good fan layout, two in the front drive bays (moveable) and a monster fan at the top rear. The Power Supply is mounted at the bottom of the case and there is an additional fan on the back....
