yeah i've been looking at getting one of these, i've had the 6600 for about 5 years now no probs, and really like the symbian s60 OS.
there are a couple of symbian series 60 forums round, i used to be on a couple but it's been a while and i think they've all changed now, but you can get free software on a bunch of them.
i picked up some neat apps back in the day, and that was before piracy took off so massively with torrents.
Got TomTom working fine on my N95-8gb. You just have to do a bit of a search on how to "get it working" with the internal GPS.
Have found that the internal GPS can be a bit flakey inside a car especially if it isnt attached to a bracket on the windscreen, so I use an external bluetooth GPS from my old E65 and that works a treat, also doesn't chew down the battery as much.
yeah tomtom is the way to go bit confusing to set up but once its up and running its good
I just got McGuider from ebay (around $35) and it is excellent. I am unable to use the internal GPS however. I just can't get a lock but when I switch on "Assisted GPS" it works a treat. I will be getting a bluetooth GPS puck in the near future. I also found that the battery didn't last very long at all using the GPS and I now have a car charger to use for this purpose.
I love my N95, they are a great phone, if the just had a few of the sony walkman phone features it would be unbeatable.

finally got a gps program on my phone, i got Garmin Mobile XT on my n96 toke me a while to get all the items including
Alerts
Speed Camera
Red Light
Australia Map
Only Downside to Garmin Mobile XT, the search is very annoying and plus it drains the battery easily, but i will have to put up with it, i'm not forking out $125 a year For Nokia Maps.
