Default Looking for a new monitor

can anyone recommend me a good 24 inch monitor? i was looking at dell monitor's, but the one i want is around $700, as it has all the extras like usb ports, card readers, extra outputs. any other brands that still have good features but are good value?

Nope - the Dell you're looking at is still the best value for money 24 inch on the market IMO. I got two of em!

ok cool. i use a 22 inch dell at work, dell laptop at home, and all my mates use dell monitors so theyve got a good reputation with me so far. theres a lower spec model for $400 i think. basic model though.

He's not after the best deal on a 24 inch. He wants to know what the best value for money 24 inch is with the features he likes.

Dont go viewsonic, they are poor quality and will leave you with sore eyes in no time.
Ive got an acer, I got it for nothing, and I cant complain, works perfectly, keep in mind I may be infront of it from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed, and have never got sore eyes from it.
User Dell 22inch widescreens at TAFE, seem like a great screen, though I do notice after a 3 hour class my eyes are a bit sore, not the case when I have my 6-7 hour class on the acers.

Not 100% on a 24" but my 22" LG I cannot fault. Look at their new range, great value for money if you don't care about pointless things like card readers and crap.
