Hard to say until world tour comes out... However, guitar hero 3 was far more challenging than rock band in regards to the guitar facet of rock band.

Guitar hero had better songs as well, there are alot of "unknown" bands in rock band, the new rock band has certainly improved in that regard though.

World tour I'd be saying aswell.

Drum kit alone is meant to be better in GH:WT thanks to the rubberised coating, Rock band is meant to be really loud?

I like the track listing on WT better as well?

Yeah mate bought it last night.

GH is the way to go.

All the game stores I go to say they are reducing the cost of Rock Band and other stores and dropping the price of it to just because Guitar Hero owns it haha.

Its funny how they both owned by the same company though ay' =P

My son played both last week and said both were good but world tour was the better of the two .

I think I'll be getting world tour this afternoon if my brother put my name on a kit. It'll give me something to play after exams.

I got GH4 last night, and it kicks ass. Although i think you can only have one career per memory card as its a full band game...if that makes sense. Haven't really looked at rock band though...

Generally you have to pay for them. On xbox live, they occasionally offer free songs, but any decent songs, for a song pack of 3 or 4 will cost up to $15.

Yeah it's pretty dear to download songs.

Well I got it thursday lunch and I had it finished twice by friday afternoon, that's career mode guitar on medium and career mode me on drums and brother on guitar swapping every few songs.

All I can say though, Medium guitar is really easy compared to GH3, I switched to Hard and got through a few songs quite easily and I sucked at Hard on GH3, I could only do 1 song and that was after practicing it for a while.

Drums on Easy are too boring. Drums on medium are okay. Drums on hard is do-able for me but I don't go that well. I think I'll attempt career for drums on hard starting this weekend coming. Some of those songs on expert though. For people that have never played drums, wow they look intense.

And for anyone having sensitivity issues with the cymbals, go to the website and order your free Midi cable, lets you tune the instruments to be more/less sensitive. In the meantime, go to youtube and search for the sticky tape fix. It works exceptionally well.

Have you tried the sticky tape fix?

Here's the link, you need the Serial number which is behind the batteries in the drum kit. And as far as I know you don't have to send your cymbal away. And select the Midi cable as your warranty reason.
