Who seeds?

Just wondering who here seeds their downloads (torrents)?
I always seed mine to a 1:1 ratio, but have mates that stop seeding the second the download is done and another whose ISP called to ask about his enormous uploads...........he seeds everything permanently

Depends what it is really.
TV shows etc Ill seed for a few weeks.
"Acquired" programs I will NOT seed for any more then i have to.

Interesting fact I showed my sister how to use uTorrent, couple of weeks later I get a lovely sisterly phone call regarding her rediculously bill for the internet.
Telstra Bigpond count uploads as a download, but when your net gets shaped your uploads dont and she was charged something like $2.20 per mb uploaded.

I seed everything to 1:1 but have it set to auto remove if it gets to 1.5:1.

i must admit im pretty much a leecher, although if i go to download something new ill start seeding the others while im waiting for the download.

i used to seed 4:1, more if the seed/leech ratio was low.

I do seed and have a sort of good ratio of .8. Somethings i dont bother seeding. Sometimes its annoying have **** upload if i had good upload i would seed a lot more. But my line is unstable at high speeds so i have lower speed to keep it more stable.
######## doesnt correctly list my stats as i think i got a dynamic ip.
Anyway i got 1 torrent going atm with d/l 22.99gb u/l 21.25gb sr. .924 and i'm only 31.2% through.

So i like to think i give my fair share 99% of the time

Yep thats what i do if there's f all seeds i will seed longer but when theres 30000 seed and 1500 leechers i wont upload a lot (topgear uk episdoes are good for those numbers)

altho i use g1/g2 network (faster) i still seed to the torrents to bring up the speed a little.

I don't understand seeding, but while i'm still with optus, i can't seed, as uploads are counted.

Yes, i seed most things, I'm on Optus but uploads arn't counted. Which is also why there's so many web servers on the network i run xD

I seed most of the time, sometimes it makes my comp painfully slow so I stop seeding but my ratio atm is 2.14, I think when you are getting something for nothing its the least you can do to share the love lol
