NFS Undercover

Anyone tried the new Need for speed? I got it this arvo and have spent a good 2 hours playing it. All i can say is i'm severely dissapointed and i'm glad i bought it at eb so i can go get my $80 back

Didn't even know there was a new one after Pro Street. That one was absolutely crap, so even if I knew of Undercover I doubt I woulda gotten it.

NFS has just been getting worse and worse since Hot Pursuit back in the 90's.

Or get it from eb, will cost you $80 but you've got it for a week and you get all your money back...

The graphics haven't improved, if anything i would say they are worse, (back to carbon graphics). The gameplay hasn't changed from carbon at all. Storyline so far is up to sh*t and apart from the range of cars (all of which just about are still locked) the game has got nothing going for it

Yeah ive also heard that there are massive framerate issues. Youll be racing and all of a sudden you go all laggy causing you to crash.

If the game doesnt have a strict release date they can sell it as soon as they get stock. Games like Fable and Gears of War 2 had strict release dates, like Kmart, Target, Big W and Harvey Norman found out after selling tons of copies. The microsoft ban hammer came down haaaard.

Need for Speed, scrap that.. 95% of games EA games release are buckets of sh*t. They've got their place in the business and they've got a reputation from things in the past. But they're pumping out mass produced unrefined garbage.

Need for Speed 1, and 3. With 1 being the best, are the only two released of Need for Speed that I've enjoyed.

My brother has his hopes set on this game. Looks like I have to talk him out of it asap.

The thing I liked about Carbon was the engine notes they used. That was the best part of the game lol. Rest of it was just... ****, plain and simple. Bad game, nothing else to it. Been like that for a few in the series now, unfortunately.

That being said, I'm not one for arcade racers. GTR2, Test Drive Unlimited, rFactor etc FTW! GTR2 with a Logitech G25 is rather fun

I think the last need for speed game I played was Hot Pursuit, I remember being all excited about it because it was one of the first games I had legitimately purchased for a PC.

I nearly tripled the minimum system specs so that wasn't a drama. Got home, play.
The boxiest, chunkiest, laggiest, slowest game ever. Fairly sure it ended up in the bin.

well............ today i decided to go trade in midnight club LA, as i went to 'game' tha other day and they said 60buks for it, so went there, but only got 45, apparently tha prices change everyday, anyway, decided may aswell get NFS and give it a crack, so got that home, played it for mayb 15mintues? then got straight back in my car and reuturned it, wat a peice of ****, rather play pro-street, so now i have a voucher for game, cause they dont do cash back (bull****)
