Yamaha surround sound 4 ps3 FRONT 2 SPEAKERS DONT WORK HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DIDNT NO WHERE TO PUT THIS SO MOVE IF NEEDED CHEERS ...........................anyone hooked surround sound to there PS3 ive hooked up 5.1 yamaha but can only get 2 back speakers and center one aswel as sub to work 2 fronts dont work?. im using optic cable from receiver box to ps3 what would cause this to happen ive tried changing settings on both receiver and ps3 but cannot get it to work also have checked terminals and all is in right spot. just need to know what other cables go where to cause 2 speakeers not to work????? help

what game is it on ???

is that game 5.1 and is it set to 5.1 ???

i cant get them working at all mate ive tried a dvd 5.1 no go if i try put the volume up on the individual speakers the front make the rear ones already working go up and down in volume wtf
theres got 2 be a setting or somthing ive done wrong its killing me

lol well after much ponerding i figured it out i had to turn speakers a off which some how makes all of them work
and let me tell u go yamaha if u want surround ***n awsome lovin the surround while playn sony
