thought id start this up to see what ppl think of different games across all the newer consoles and pc obviously old consoles are welcome as well.

I have been playing alot of gears of war 2 i think they have really done well with gears of war awesome fun especially in co-op and also online story is a long one or longish chainsaws are fun too .

One thing for sure DO NOT get farcry 2 for PC, it is no relation to farcry 1.

I really enjoyed Mass Effect and am looking forward to number 2

what was so bad about far cry 2?? i think the best game for me so far has deff been halo 3 ive played all three loved the story love the online play deff best game out in my opinion gears of war second to that

Gears of War 2 has the shottiest online play in the history of online games. If your lucky to get into a game in under 15 minutes, youll be subjected to the most horrendus lag ever.

Its a copy paste sequel to Gears 1, but its still a fantastic game to play, also has a couple of heart wrenching moments.

i thought the online wasnt to bad (halo is much better) but yeah didnt think it was tha bad i havent really had any lag got into games pretty quick yeah story is awesome heart wrenching moments in deed

Theres so many horror stories about Gears online. When theres games like Call of Duty World at War with a lag free online gaming, with locale search, Gears 2 doesnt cut it.

When it first came out it was a lot worse, its SOMEWHAT better now after the recent patch, the finding game time has been reduced but the lag is still just as bad.

Yeah i loved Gears 1 online, it was very tactical. Gears 2 online is nothing but lag and glitch fest. I traded it in to EB games once i finished the single player. Halo 3 was pretty good but it seemed to attract a lot of the high pitched kids who are nothing but morons.

I usually play Call of Duty, while i hate world at war, the online is good because it has the option to search for Australian games.

persnally this game is a no gamer for me, tryed playing the orignal and gave up on the first level,
decided to give it a second chance and try gears 2,
nope a massive fail for me

the whole layout is a big let down for me, 3rd person shoots are genrally not nice to play and nothing really grabed my attention to really want me to keep playing


Call of Duty, world at war

now this game reall drawed my attention, the COD series just keeps getting better and better,
COD 4 was great but COD world at war is amazing

Smooth play, good online (xbox live) great story which most facts are true and the story is well thought out

personally i am really intrested in war documentorys and movies which are of true stories,
so this game really kept me playing it was intresting, fun and a doco almost


Halo series

what can i say......... best gamer series ive played
story line is great hasnt looped and repeated over there games,
AI is great and not prodictable like other games

online play/ multi player by far best you could find, i play online a fair bit

good all round game



but my view is diff to everyone else, so no slanging each others views

Grennan add me pub247 anyone else can if they like i play codwaw mainly. Havent got queers of war the first one ruined online. I as stated 2nd isnt any better Though single player and coop were good.
Halo well never really liked halo online I think cod4 has the best online play out there.
WAW is just like an expansion with new maps and set in ww2. Single player is ****house AI is utterly horrible all they do is spam you with nades and have you lined up before they even know you there.
I really like Test Drive unlimited i think that game rocks it may be old but defenitly one of the best cars games Besides forza 2 (which i wont play anymore as i lost my saved game)

i didnt really like testdrive unlimitied maybe im doing somethin wrong hahaha lol just game didnt appeal to me after a while lol i wish there was a story

OK only xbox (i dont play pc games) TDU iwas designed for xbox and is utterly terrible on pc.

Also i'll add a little more for COD: waw. Multiplayer whilst good has some pros and cons. Pros are mainly the search settings makes the game better for aussies. Cons- Noob tubes are still around and just as easy to spawn to spawn like COD4 that should have been fixed. Teamkilling still happens but is better due to players getting kicked for doing it 3 times But it can **** you off if you do it accidently.
Biggest Con is glitching why must people do this its pointless and annoys the crap out of you.

CoD WaW is Modern Warfare with old guns and different maps. The only reason im still playing it is the online, the local search function is its best feature.

Honestly i havent played CoD in a good 2 weeks, as pub said the spawn killing is terrible. Espically if you play Headquarters most of the time.

The game has no direction and the guards you kill at the checkpoints always respawn. I love my FPS games but this one just didn't draw me in.

Yeah I play HQ with a clan im in, its great fun with organisation because we dont all sit in the same room, we all take sentry positions etc. Its great fun when its organised. I still havent even put Call of Duty in the xbox since last year, its not fun.

Weve also played S&D games, your right the noob tubing is horrendus. Gotta love the mad dash away from the spawn point as soon as the game starts.

Test drive is all right but I got over the novelty of having drive everywhere to find races/dealerships.
