PLASMA or LCD panel... NOT TV

Hey,

just wondering if anyone knows where I can get just a High Def, PLASMA or LCD panel... Not TV.

Basically I have a little media center thats also a HD PVR.

So all i need is a panel with some HDMI and AV inputs.

About 32+ inches...

Anyone?

Does it really matter? The only difference is a built in tuner.

Kinda missed the point of the original post I think.

Good luck getting just a panel with inputs... Your cheapest option will be to just buy a 32 inch LCD TV. I was going to suggest buying a 32 inch monitor from Dell, but that'd still cost you around $2k (albeit giving you 1600p). A 32 inch Samsung (720p) will cost you about $800. Getting the components without a tuner won't be any cheaper, even if you are thinking of sourcing individual parts on their own.

Look in the major electronics retailers (DSE, Harvey Norman, Good Guys, JB etc) in the TV section. Look for sets that don't mention anything about "integrated". Also look for sets that are just "panels". Although TBH, a few years ago this would have been very easy. But with the uptake of HD content, a HD tuner is probably going to be built in anyway.
