The only problem is that they are a lot more expensive than equivilent PCs for what you get, and have pretty much the same hardware. I've got a MacBook, and its a great machine, although I bought it specifically to run Mac OS X, and therefore could see the value in spending more on it because of that. If you're just going to run Windows, you're better off getting a quality Windows machine, much better bang for buck.
