firefox help

Hi all, i just noticed that something is missing in ff. i have no homepage icon or foreward and back icons.
I have tried closing and re-oponing ff but that didnt help. I havent downloaded anything at all on this comp.
Have i accidently changed a setting or something? or is it a prob with firefox?

Right click where the orange X is. Make sure both options are hilighted like the bottom part of the pic shows.

go to view > toolbars and make sure navigation toolbar is ticked

and if that is ticked but stuff isn't showing still (like only some icons are there) you can right click where he said, then click customise, and a window will pop up, you can drag the icons/functions out of this window into the toolbar and move the positions of the icons too.

if this still doesn't work, did you recently install a new firefox visual theme? if so it's possible the theme is buggered and doesn't include graphics for all of the buttons

Hi all, i now have another problem. I dont know whether i caused it trying to do the settings.
It is only happening on ebay when i am doing a search. On all my other comps running ff i have no probs. On the comp with the prob it only happens on my side. It doesnt happen in IE. I have run ccleaner and uninstalled and re-installed ff, but it is still happening.
Now the prob is when i do a search the results page comes up smaller, meaning all the writting etc is smaller. The screen size doesnt minimize just the size of everything. I always view the results in list view. On my other comp each item is about 17mm high. On this comp the results come up only about 10mm. I tried reducing the number of results down to 50 per page but nothing i have tried works.

Any help/ideas appreciated

Try resizing the view by holding ctrl and using your scroll wheel on your mouse.
You describe it being an issue with the search page, but the text size is normally global in the browser.

If your mouse wheel is dodgy/imprecise you can also use CTRL+"plus" button (CTRL++ would've looked weird). That also happens to me occasionally, not sure what causes it.
