Dud PC or what?

what was the problem with it, why did it need a rebuild??

What is still not working on it??

Bought computer.
Within a week, 'harddrive failure imminent'

Replaced that, same deal within a week.
Came out again, fixed that, and replaced the motherboard.

few months go by, same problem comes up. he did the same again, replaced motherbaord and hard drive.

Was ok for about 3 months and did it yet again (mind you, all of these times it was the same technician sent out). This time he kept it for a week, and said he's replacing everything.

Got it back, and its still saying the same fault (hard drive failure imminent), aswell as now it says 'system fan has failed'.



I was more pissed, because after the first time it ****ed up within a week, i asked them for a replacement, or my money back, but they said the warranty only covered repairing, or replacement at the manufactured discretion! With all those call out fee's, they would have paid more than 3 times what the comp is worth in the first place.

Now all they have is someone bad mouthing their shit brand making sure no-one i know goes near them!

But if I said that about a holden, people would just say, well you get your monday and friday ones, take it to a dealer, there are lemons everywhere.

I was already warned not to buy a HP, now i know why! Holden are just as bad with their duds, they wont replace them, so people have gone to lengths such as fully sign writting their car telling everyone there duds (and ford owners have had to do this aswell!)

If HP technicians couldn't fix it, what makes you think a thread on here would get the problem solved. Either way, i bought a new computer, a custom built no brand one, which has never had a problem in the 8 months or so i've had it!

So out of every business in Aus, i manage to find the one that employs 4 dud technicians, and manages to be in business more than a year.....
