The pc version of gta4 sucks.
You need a 256 bit card just to run it in lowest specs.

Yeah this comp is getting a bit old, 3.4ghz, 1gb ram and geforce 6600 256mb card
I can run San Andreas full graphics and with my ADSL+2 get average pings of around 200 to servers in USA and 50 on aussie servers.
Just a bit more fun playing against 200 real people on a server instead of the mindless computer...
The Future.
I got gta4 on 2 pc's my wife n me play it online when we get the chance..we brought 2 copy's to make online happen, but i think u can lan on 1 cd, as it only needs to read it to fire the game up. Then eject!
