SATA Hard drive where do i get power from?

the title explains it all i got a new 500gb sata hdd and was in process of putting it in and realise there's no power cable where do i get the power from ?

Generally older style ones might have a 4 pin normal power plug, newer ones have a thin power plug, and you usually get a connector with the drive or your power supply may have a connector.

yeah cool my pc pretty new i assumed the ps would have it but it doesnt i guess im going for another friggin drive

drive is secondhand so no cable i got a serial cable with my pc but no power cable gotta go back to clayton as its only joint thats open im glad the adaptor is only $6
