well i got some patch for it and it still doesnt work as soon as i sign in about 5 to 10 seconds later this comes up "Windows Live Communications Platform has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
then once i click close on that box it closes my messanger

well after reading this thread i went and downloaded it and AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH its ****ing gay my computer went spaz and wouldnt load windows after i reset it until i did that go back in time thingie now all is sweet, stupid ****ing microsoft

The new version is running like a pos on my computer, I regret ever installing it. It hasnt been able to sign in all damn day or last night nothing but trouble. I have reverted back to using windows messenger 4.7 for the time being lol, not flashy but at least its reliable

well i got rid of the new one and reinstalled the one b4 the new one so its still all fancy and its working fine, thank god i got rid of that new crap!
just another moderator...
I lost the new one last week as it and mcaffee didn't cooperate
Even with the patches the vid and audio were still borked and locked up all the time.

was a very bad download for me, im not sure if it only works for ppl with vista or not, but ive gone back to the one b4 it, works perfectly not one problem
