I'm currently trying 2 programs on a HDD that crashed:

CONVAR & PCinspector Data Recovery Datenrettung recupero dati datarecovery rcupration donnes

TestDisk - CGSecurity

Teskdisk seems to be having the best results, just need to get a bigger HDD so I can recover the data.

I second TestDisk...its not exactly the most user-friendly program, but if anything has a chance of saving your data, TestDisk does.

Yeah took me a few goes to work out how to use it properly, good ole dos!

Use a program called Getdataback.
there is two versions Getdataback for NTFS and Getdataback for FAT.
