    Default Laptop w/ Bluetooth

    Hey guys, I was wondering if u guys know how to setup bluetooth to run songs through a PS3 from a laptop.. In the same fashion you do with a mobile phone to a car CD player. I have a toshiba laptop with vista.

    Hey Mate,

    I would imagen it would be the same as doing it with the Mobiles and Cars. Just turn the Bluetooth on in both the PS3 and Laptop. Then just select the file to send to each other. From memory i think you can just right click(for the laptop) and go send file via bluetooth or something like that. Not 100% sure about the PS3 as i have never owned one so unsure of how it works.

    It does help to a degree.. However I have no effing idea on how to turn the bluetooth on for the laptop.. Any ideas?

    It would also be very handy for when I',m transferring images from my phone to computer, or songs from PC to phone...

    should be an icon near your clock in the bottom right corner for bluetooth

    When I set bluetooth up on my cousins lappy it was in the control panel Trent, but you have to set it to Classic view with Vista.

    where in CP.. I have classic view, but nothing mentioning Bluetooth/// im confused.

    I know i'm a dumbarse, but I guess this is what this section is for aye?

    When I did her's it just had a bluetooth option Tried searching the lappy for bluetooth?

    on my laptop (toshiba)
    he bluthooth file.folder is called IVT BlueSoleil

    it doesnt work

    the ps3 will only hook up to accesory's

    eg blue tooth keyboard/ mouse/ microphone

    you cant transfer information through it

    Im not 100% in this but im preety sure you can, maybe not through blue tooth but definitely through wireless. do a search.

    Edit: Confirmed through wireless/wired through WM 11+ firmware 1.8 needed???

    EDIT2: There is no A2DP or "Advanced Audio Distribution Profile" on the ps3 so streaming music device would be nigh impossible atm.
