Windows 98 is fail, install and run Windows 7 and use patches to play old games, or even a build of Linux and WINE

I've just started playing Gran Turismo 4 through a PS2 emulator - come back to modern versions of Windows and you can too

You could also setup a Virtual machine and do this.

I run win 98 in a virtual machine so i can play Red Alert.. BEST C&C ever IMHO

How is that more awesome? I loved windows 98 but it ain't anything on XP.

VM's are the way of the future and are so much more flexible than having an old workstation to play an old game.

C&C did rock though, and there is a new pack out so you can play the old ones on your brand new machines anyways.

i meant it that he went and got a computer, installed it, found all the drivers JUST to play the game... that's love right there plus you get the whole mood of 98, its all fond memories

yeah, carmargeddon looks pretty awsome in hardware 3dfx as does original UT in 3dfx

I agree Morton...I've got an old Pentium 200 at home loaded up with Windows 95 that I use for old games and stuff...sure, I could just load up 95 in a VM on my 2.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo....but it wouldn't have the charm of that little beige minitower, with its dinky little 14" CRT and tinny "multimedia speakers".

lol.... Bringing back memories now and Im not even that old. I use to play Streetrod and Streetrod II for absolute days, my school holidays consisted off riding my BMX or playing Streetroad, now I wanna play it lol.
