    Default ve 6.0l how strong is the bottom end?

    as stated just wondering if anyone knows how strod the standard internals are in ve 6.0l commodores and how much power they are capable of making before breaking?

    forced induction, its about the ve with a twin turbo kit and cam hes claimed 450-460rwkw how long should that last lol on 9psi?

    Depends on how good the tune is and how hard it gets driven. The standard cranks are good for around 800 hp its the rods/pistons which are the weak link.The power figure sounds a bit high for 9psi too, what size turbos is it running?

    im not that fussed about the power figure really even if it is only 400rwkw but as a 2-3 week driven reasonble how many kms do u think i would get out of it?

    Its really hard to say how long it will last man cause i have seen some last 2 months and I have seen some last for a few years. As long as the boost is kept at a sensible level it should easily last a few years. Just dont get greedy and wind up the boost cause it will end in tears. Either way I would make sure that if you buy the car start putting some money aside for a rebuild cause sooner or later it will let go.

    50 - 150,000. When you are in that league it's a real lottery and the nut behind the wheel is a huge component.
