2bar map sensor install

anyone tried installing the 2bar map sensor for ls1?
Having a bit of troubles finding out exactly what to do...got the connector which i need to solder to the map sensor unit, but do u actually pull out the unit from the back of the manifold?
Any help wud be great.

It just clips in. Pull the tab back gently and lift it out. Keep in mind that you can't just plug in a 2bar sensor and expect it to work perfectly with your 1bar tune. The resolution is different.

thanks mate, from what i can see it loks liek theres 2 parts? theres a small black box thing that it plugs into, that wobbles around a bit, and then theres a circular thing thats plugged into the intake manifold. dam auto pro better have given me the right dam map sensor :/

Mate it is not that hard. 2 bar map sensors to suit the LS1 manifold are identical to the factory item except one of the retaining tabs needs to be ground off in order for it to fit. Pull the original one out which is easy then you will have to grind one of the tabs from the 2 bar map sensor which you hopefully purchased correctly
