    Default what the hell is this

    when i drive my car when its cold its fine drive nice and smoth when it warms up i get this jurking at 1800rpm in every gear from 2 up to 6 i changed the plugs and seams a little better i thort it was a flat spot in the tune but it dont do it when its cold ??? any one go any ideas

    well every one keeps telling me its the tune this is what i have tried so far tested the tps works fine iac (just in case) put new leads new plugs tested all the coils looked for any vac leaks so the only one left is o2 sensor or the tune .....

    nope i just bought it and it only dose it when its cold i spoke to the guy that tune it and he thinks its a problem with the map and thats doing it says its not o2 sensor i have changed/checked every other thing in the car i have done coil packs plugs leads tps but they think thats all it is like its tomuch timing

    well how do u test an o2 sensor i will try it and see but i booked in to the tuner for 2 weeks time for a retune

    ok guys looking at the fuel use on the dash it get stuff all fuel then all of a sudden bam there it comes then nuffin then her it comes hope some one no's what that mean s

    hey mate i had a similar problem the other day ... remembered i hit a roo bout a week back and found one of my o2 sensors busted . as for the fuel guages there shit ... =P

    ok thanks i dont know how to test it thats my problem i tryed to run a scaner through it but cant as computer is locked but the tuner said no it wont be ur o2s i dont know over it

    i have now just orders o2 sensors should be in tomorrow so will see how we go from there i hope this will fix it if not im ****ed if i know

    u need a multi meter and a work shop manual it say's everything u need to know test the signal voltage on the o2 sensor itself

    mate just buy the ngk oxy sensors, $70 each and you won't have to worry for a while or $140-$150 for the factory's sounds like oxy's, does it still have the maf sensor in place or mafless tune, can also be the maf sensor faulty, when they go some cars won't run over 1800rpm when cold and some won't rev over 4,000rpm.

    Bosch sensors off ebay are around $55 each.

    If the O2 sensors work I'd suggest checking the TPS

    Get another tuner.
    FWIW a locked pcm will not prevent you from scanning the data. If you cannot scan data through the OBD2 port there is obviously a wiring issue that needs resolving before going any further. I really hate it when people just throw good money after bad trying to fix issues when a simple scan will tell you exactly what you need to know.

    well its not throughing and codes vt1538 i just went for a drive in it and gave it some shit and after it was running like a pig almost like it was getting to much fuel then after 5mins came good the car was tuned 20,000kms ago and the old owner drove it like it is and said he never had this problem and the tuner who also serviced the car said the same thing ??? i have order some o2s and the tune has given me time of day on the weekend to look at the car and is clearing out his shed for my car to be first up so i will give him a chance to fix it if not them i will never go back but im starting to think o2 sensors will fix it

    want to see more then a typical commodore fitted with an exhuast, then check my thread out... link broken cuase i dont own a tuff car, i just made it up...
